Santa Fe has some great spots that make for fantastic photos, especially if you want to capture the city’s character. My favorite spots in Santa Fe for photos begin with downtown Santa Fe, with it's classic adobe buildings and laid-back Southwestern feel. Whether you're walking around the plaza or catching the details of the colorful doors and rustic architecture, this area gives off that unique Santa Fe vibe. It's an easy spot to get some great shots without going too far from the action.
If you're looking for a more outdoorsy setting, the Santa Fe National Forest is a great place to go. It’s a little outside the city and offers some fantastic forest and mountain views. The greenery, tall trees, and peaceful surroundings make it perfect for anyone who wants a more natural and relaxed feel to their photos. The lighting here is ideal, especially in the early mornings or late afternoons.
Another spot I love for photos is Arroyo Hondo Open Space. It’s open, wide, and great for catching those beautiful sunrise or sunset shots. The sky is huge here, and you can get a real sense of space and calm in your photos. Whether you're starting your day or winding it down, this location has a peaceful vibe that makes for some great moments to capture.
